PIA Wealth Management & Coronavirus
A rapidly evolving health story broke in late December 2019 when a novel illness originating in Wuhan, China made the news. Reports of the number of infected people swiftly rose and new cases of this coronavirus — dubbed officially as ‘2019-nCoV’ by scientists — has appeared in ever increasing clusters across the world.
As this pandemic continues to intensify, please know that PIA Wealth Management is organised to provide the best possible service to our clients and business partners, whilst protecting and supporting the safety of our colleagues, their families and the communities around us. We have put business continuation procedures and office systems in place; Consultants are able to work remotely, accessing systems that ensure the availability and integrity of services.
Our colleagues are able to maintain communications, as we understand most of our business partners are, which gives confidence in our ability to maintain operations in most circumstances. We aim to provide as frictionless a service as possible to all should escalated safety measures be required. In the short term and /or until we hear anything further to the contrary the office will remain open, but we will be adopting a more arm’s length approach to our service offering and using the many other facilities available to us. This will mean greater use of the telephone, emails and all other technologies where possible.
We are monitoring the evolving advice from the Government and associated healthcare experts. Of course we cannot eliminate risk completely (parallels here can be drawn with investment performance) but we hope you will agree that we are taking sensible measures to reduce any additional exposure to you.
Seldom has the polite expression “I trust you are well” been so meaningful and sincere to so many people. We at PIA Wealth Management are determined to deliver our best during these challenging circumstances. We wish you well and remain available to help everyone concerned in any reasonable way we can.
