Third Time's a Charm!

The 2019 Financial Services Midlands Open saw a record 20 teams enter the prestigious competition. It was an excellent day, as always, hosted by J O Hambro and BNY Mellon at a the majestic Moseley Golf Club. Conditions were tricky, with strong winds and rain showers buffeting the competitors, but the PIA Wealth Management team persevered to retain the trophy for the third consecutive year. The weather brightened to allow for the customary patio picture, which was framed by a spectacular rainbow. In his speech, after collecting the trophy – which is fast becoming part of the office furniture – David Bandurak thanked organisers Richard Turner and Joe Sheehan for their time and effort to put on such an excellent event; they also managed to raise almost £1,000 on the day, which will be passed on to Great Ormond Street Hospital.
