Stuart Palmer and Beyond Shame, Beyond Stigma

After 6 days and 600 miles riding through tough terrain in the South West, Stuart Palmer of Architas fund management group finished his charity challenge at Helston Community College and was met by charity founders and family members.

From starting here at the PIA gate last week Stuart has raised an incredible £1,600 (and counting) for ‘Beyond Shame, Beyond Stigma’, a mental health charity that provides education programmes for young people, their families and their educators.

So why did Stuart take on this challenge?... “Many of us have been impacted by mental health either directly or indirectly. For me, my eyes were really opened when one of our friends told us about her son's challenges with mental health and his attempted suicides. The impact on him is terrible and so is the impact on his family and friends.”

Business Development and Marketing Manager, Richard Bourne added “ We are delighted to be associated with such an achievement. Stuart was very keen to start his challenge from PIA Wealth Management’s office here in Wolverhampton as he appreciates our Social Responsibility Policy and all that we try to do to support those in the community who are less fortunate and who need added support”
