Our Team - Richard Bourne (Business Development & Marketing Manager)

Richard joined PIA Wealth Management in February 2010 having worked for the AXA group and the Halifax Building Society in a financial career spanning 40 years.

He was a Senior Business Manager at AXA for the Midlands region and specialised over many years in Corporate Pension Planning, Trusts and all areas of Investment.

Richard is fully qualified to diploma level 4 with The Chartered Insurance Institute and also holds the full pension transfer qualification (G60) as well as (G10) for Taxation and Trusts.

Over the last few years Richard has primarily worked on a major project where he has helped to reshape our business fit for the new world of financial services where professional advice is at the forefront of every client relationship.

Richard is also a regular contributor to local media press reporting where he writes topical as well as educational articles for its readership. He is also proud to be associated with the Black Country Chamber of Commerce where many of his financial articles have been printed. Richard also holds the position of Chair at the Wolverhampton Business Breakfast Club, Grand Theatre and Phoenix Theatre Company.

On the social side Richard is married to wife Angela and they have 2 children. Chris works for PIA as one of our Consultants and daughter Lisa is a Service Manageress for the Virgin Group.

Richard is a keen sportsman and for many years played cricket locally for Brewood. He now enjoys a more relaxed and leisurely game of golf and is a member at Chesterton Valley Golf Club.
